With a small child, Leonardo decided to stay in Brazil with your family. Then he went to Rio de Janeiro to play in Vasco da Gama. As the registrations to play inthe first round of the Carioca Championship were closed, Leonardo dedicated all his time in training.

Vasco’s defense was formed by Fernano and Titi. Leonardo had the oportunity to debut in a game in Volta Redonda, against the local team. And he a had a good debut. Vasco won 5 x 3. It was the beginning of his history in the team.

Leonardo has a contract with Vasco until the end of this year and his main goal is to help the team to go back to the first division of the Brazilian Championship.
“Vasco is a big team and don’t deserve to stay in second division. We have a strong tema and I am sure that we will go back to first division”, says the defenser about the team that won four Brazilian titles and one Libertadores Cup title.
